I write about obsession, uncertainty, memory, humour, and the ways people explain themselves to themselves.
“I’m interested in the gap between what makes sense from the outside and what makes sense inside someone’s head.”
I’m drawn to character-driven fiction that gets close to the way people think — the private logic behind their choices, the things they fixate on, and the reasons perfectly reasonable decisions can become something else entirely.
